Mission Clean Stream

On Saturday, April 6, join Greenway Network, St. Charles County and the communities of Cottleville, Dardenne Prairie, Lake Saint Louis, O’Fallon, St. Charles, St. Peters, and Wentzville help to remove trash from local streams and lakes.

Mission: Clean Stream has evolved into a challenge for many to do some serious damage to the amount of trash in our waterways in a very short amount of time.

In 2022, roughly 1,000 volunteers pulled 11 tons of trash out of Dardenne, Peruque, Belleau, Spencer and Cole Creeks in about two hours.

Mission: Clean Stream has gotten creative with the objects volunteers find in creeks! Local artists will be on site creating new works of eco-art from salvaged metal for the Stream Trash ART (START) project.

Register Now!

Register by emailing a signed copy of the waiver release form to Doug Heinsohn at dheinsohn@lakesaintlouis.com.

Waiver must be signed for each volunteer that will be with you or in your group.

Be sure to put “Lake Saint Louis Clean Stream” in the “Event Name” line on the form.

Volunteers from the Lake Saint Louis area will rendezvous and check-in at Jefferson Point Pavilion on Civic Center Drive in Lake St. Louis at 8:30 am.

Everyone is asked to dress for the weather, wear sturdy shoes or boots, and bring gloves and a water bottle. Transportation is not provided. Food and Drink will not be provided.

If you have any questions, please contact Doug Heinsohn in Public Works at 636-695-4221.

Registration

All participants need to fill out the liability waiver and photo release (PDF) before participating in the event.

Lake Saint Louis Triathlon - Safety Boats

The Lake Saint Louis Triathlon is one of the most popular events in our community, and the premier triathlon in the region.  For many years we have supplied safety boats (kayaks) and paddlers in support of the swim portion of the race.  The more boats, and eyes, the better, as we want to ensure that the competition is fun and safe for all participants.

NOTE: Date is approximate pending official announcement from the City of Lake Saint Louis.
