We've always had paddlers in our club, and in 2009 we officially added paddling to our activities, and our club name. We invite all members of the Lake Saint Louis Community Association to join us, regardless of paddling experience (or lack thereof). We provide free lessons to our club members, and other opportunities for those that want to explore our lakes and creeks by paddle. The Lake Saint Louis Community Association maintains a fleet of kayaks that our members can use, if you don't have your own boat. Our members use kayaks, canoes, and standup paddle boards. Our favorite special paddling events include our Moonlight Paddles, and Up-the-Creek Paddles. Join us!

Moonlight Paddles

Imagine paddling to the light of a full moon, with only the sound of your paddle pulling against the water, and your boat slipping through the ripples on the lake.  If this sounds like your kind of evening, then come join us as we paddle around the little lake (Lake Sainte Louise) with little more than moonlight to guide us.  This is a wonderful way to explore the lake!  We launch from the Lake Saint Louis Community Association lower parking lot, and will be on the water for less than an hour.  If you have your own boat, bring it.  Otherwise, we'll try to get you access to one of the club-owned kayaks.

Up the Creek Paddles

Want to explore the primary source of water for Lake Saint Louis?  Then join us as we paddle up the Peruque Creek and back.  You'll be amazed at how peaceful and beautiful things are on the creek, just minutes from your home!  We launch from Jefferson Point, and paddle under the I-64 bridge.  From there you're likely to find lots of heron, egrets, turtles, and more!  The entire round trip typically takes no more than a couple hours.  This activity is open to all Lake Saint Louis Community Association members, but you'll have to bring/arrange for your own watercraft (canoe, kayak, SUP, paddleboat, raft, paddlewheel steamboat, etc.).
